Fitness Screening and Assessment

Upon arrival we measure the following three baselines:

1 – Cardiovascular Fitness

Our Cardiovascular Fitness Tests vary depending on the person.  This will help us to determine target heart rates for customized fitness programming. 

2 – Functional Movement System (FMS) and Postural Assessment

Posture and Proper body mechanics is key to enjoying and benefiting from a proper strength and fitness program. Upon arrival,

we identify weaknesses and imbalances in the body through standing posture and movement

check walking and running mechanics

Body Composition-Biosignature Method

Where we store our body fat tells us a lot about our hormones!  This method involves taking skin fold measurements to help us identify muscle composition, body fat percentage and hormonal imbalances.

Personal Strength and Wellness Plan

After your initial screenings, you will meet with a RISE team member to review your results and discuss your goals so that we can be more intentional in how we support you! At the end of the retreat, we will revisit for an overview of your experience and how to implement a strategy so that you can continue your journey when you return home.

Meditation and Intuitive Movement

Every morning I will take you through a group meditation and mobility routine that will teach you how to connect to your own inner guidance through a mind body connection!

Strength and Fitness Classes

Our strength and fitness classes are fun and enjoyable all the while making sure you break a good sweat!  These classes are not “boot camp” style rather, they focus on proper movement patterns to ensure gains in functional strength.  The programs are strategically structured to be able to meet you where you are and to cater to what your body needs!

Guided Hikes and Outdoor Activities

  Nature is essential for our well being and it’s important that we integrate it into our lives!  It helps us to feel grounded and helps us to connect back to who we are.  The more time spent with nature, the better our quality of life!

This is why the RISE Retreats integrates all kinds of fun outdoor activities!  

Enlightening Educational Talks

We all know that 90%  mastery is based off wisdom and experience, 10% of it is knowledge and learning.  When we learn, we are able to understand why we do what we do and why it is important that we do it.  In these talks I help to bring clarity around the mind body connection and its interconnectedness to our reality in relation to the spiritual laws of the universe.  Our talks take place in a judgment free zone that allows for everyone to freely express their most authentic self.

Intuitive Eating Approach

The main focus is centered around the following:

Eating directly from what mother nature has provided us through locally grown farms

Eating unprocessed food

Understanding food as our medicine

Understanding our food choices as they relate to our emotions

Finding discipline and joy around healthy eating

Location and Transportation

All transportation to and from the airport are provided to ensure you arrive safely and on time.
